Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy Options for Hosts

Hosts may choose one of the following cancellation policies for their listings: 1. Flexible i. Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before check-in. ii. 50% refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in. iii. No refund for no-shows or cancellations after check-in. 2. Moderate i. Full refund for cancellations made at least 5 days before check-in. ii. 50% refund for cancellations made between 2–4 days before check-in. iii. No refund for cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in or after check-in. 3. Strict i. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. ii. No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in or after check-in.

2. Host-Initiated Cancellations

i. If a host cancels a confirmed booking, guests will receive a full refund. ii. Repeated cancellations by hosts may result in penalties or suspension from the platform.

3. Guest No-Shows

If a guest fails to check in and does not cancel, it is considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.

4. Early Departures

Guests who leave before the end of their reservation will not be refunded for unused nights unless agreed upon with the host.

5. Extenuating Circumstances

LetUsStay.ca reserves the right to override the host’s cancellation policy in the event of verified extenuating circumstances, such as: 1. Natural disasters 2. Government travel restrictions 3. Serious illness or injury Proof will be required and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

7. Dispute Resolution

If there is a disagreement regarding a cancellation or refund, both parties should contact LetUsStay.ca support within 48 hours of the issue for assistance.
