Welcome to Let Us Stay (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Let Us Stay platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using Let Us Stay, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. About Let Us Stay

Let Us Stay is a platform that connects travelers (“Guests”) with hosts (“Hosts”) who offer accommodations such as homestays, cottages, and hotels across Canada. We provide the technology to facilitate discovery, booking, and communication, but we are not a property owner, operator, or travel agency.

2. Eligibility

To use Let Us Stay, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• Use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Accounts

• You must create an account to book or host accommodations.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• You may not share your account or use another person’s account without permission.

4. Bookings & Payments

• Guests agree to pay all booking fees, taxes, and applicable charges at the time of booking.
• Hosts agree to honor confirmed bookings and provide accommodations as described in their listing.
• Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. We do not store your financial information.
• Cancellation and refund policies will be outlined at the time of booking and may vary per listing.

5. Host Responsibilities

By listing a property, Hosts agree that:

• They have the legal right to rent out the accommodation.
• The listing is accurate, truthful, and up to date.
• The property complies with local regulations, safety standards, and zoning laws.
• They are solely responsible for the condition, safety, and legality of their accommodation.

6. Guest Responsibilities

By booking through Let Us Stay, Guests agree to:

• Use the accommodation respectfully and follow any house rules.
• Leave the property in the same condition as upon arrival.
• Not engage in unlawful activities, damage property, or disturb neighbors.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation terms are determined by the Host’s chosen policy and will be displayed at booking.
• Service fees may be non-refundable.
• In case of disputes, Let Us Stay may mediate but is not obligated to resolve conflicts.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
• Post false, misleading, or offensive content.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse the Platform.
• Circumvent fees by completing transactions outside the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Let Us Stay provides a technology platform but does not:

• Guarantee the accuracy of listings.
• Endorse any Host, Guest, or accommodation.
• Assume responsibility for disputes, damages, injuries, or losses during a stay.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Let Us Stay disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual Property

• All content, branding, and features of Let Us Stay are owned by or licensed to us.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our intellectual property without permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy [insert link], which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. If material changes are made, we will notify users via email or on the Platform. Continued use of Let Us Stay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable province/territory where you reside, without regard to conflict of law principles.
